we are even a full two years ago we got

married and moved the board on neglected

old sailboat that was a much needed some

TLC since then we've been very busy

restoring her from Nielsen math

introducing value a 41-7 Arwen center

cockpit cash our home on the water we've

done hundreds of projects from even two

or three times to make this boat

suitable for a life on the sea yet we

still felt like there was something

missing we our first mate Fisher you

ready fish

before we take you on a tour here are

some quick before-and-after photos and

who doesn't love a good montage

I tackled the interior while seated the

exterior engine and systems we moved

aboard the wood was in terrible

condition and the previous owner how to

use plaster to decorate the walls now I

know the saltier Sailor is out there

we'll personally for painting the wood

we love the bright clean open feeling

and the paint moves a lot less to

maintain

after surviving a few hurricanes and

sitting unattended - for over a decade

we had our work cut out for us value is

in desperate need of a makeover so we

opted to stand down and repaint the

topside and changed our colors from blue

to gray the keel had undergone major

damage so I had to replace a large crack

in the fiberglass the bottom was

completely covered in barnacles which

resulted in countless hours of grinding

all the way down to the gelcoat

after repairing a handful of blisters we

decided to use a barrier coat and black

product in the teak rub rails were badly

damaged and needing to be completely

replaced we are very happy with values

new look hi I'm a coal and the canoe sir

and we're going to take you on a tour of

below deck

here's a cockpit right now we have the

suite ready for our captain Fisher and

then I'll go first yes your containing

and we'll start towards the valve is oh

so this is our beaver here right now

since our work we think you just find it

a little bit more comfortable it's a

little bit wider so it's closer to like

16 size bag so for our feet just have to

be kind of close to each other on the

ends but we like your that way we have

storage here right now we have all

Fisher's clothes in there we have the

two cities and behind each of them we

have storage and so over here you put

the Fisher stuff and over here we have

all of our wines so it's all the wine

cellar and the spring is that were eyes

really nice because we have Wi-Fi so we

get to utilize our TVs but when we're

sailing or I'm really doesn't have to

specify it's good for this watching

movies and then here is our galley which

we completely redid we painted

everything

Steve installed our fridge right here so

it's about supplies is just like a mini

dorm fridge we have an oven three burner

stove and then storage here right here

up here we have a sink our latest thing

is pressured water we used to just talk

to press this foot pump to get water out

and now you can just use it like you do

at home we also have hot water so super

exciting

and then follow me back here we have

some more storage here this is our

little control panel charging station so

we have all of our books and DVDs

fisher's baby books and some maps and

things on you here extra books manuals

tours here closed-source here and behind

this is one of our two and heat and air

systems so we have one here and we have

one towards the front about

and then this is the master stateroom so

this is I guess where you would normally

want to sleep but we're going to convert

this into Fisher's room whenever he's

out of his pack and play and we're going

to have mattress here and some netting

to keep them safe so that's where he'll

sleep and it will just be easier for us

to have an area to change him and keep

all of his toys and keep all this things

so that's our current plan and right now

it's kind of just a working area getting

ready to go on a trip so we have our

suitcases here and then here is our head

or bathroom right now we are using this

one as particularly a bathroom and we're

taking showers at the community shower

here at the marina but we have a forward

head as well and that's going to be our

shower room once we get to it

and now that we have hot water so now

everything in here is looking great I

redid the countertops you've got a towel

rack up here again we have hot water

install the new mirror and we have

storage down here so that's our little

aft head and I think that's it anything

else that you want to show just the

bilge will save the village for another

episode
