here we are
cRIO is once again setting sail we're
heading now to a place good Agostini
which is on the bottom of Catalonia so
I've sat in a bit of dead wind at the
moment not really going anywhere but
we've just rounded the bottom at this
point which is kefalonia basically the
bottom point halfway near and I just had
a look in the distance a couple of other
boats and can see white crests and
they're healing over the other way so
there's a wind change coming in we could
get good sail
[Music]
Matt was right suddenly the winds were
blowing in the right direction and we
were away
[Music]
hello up there right down here how you
doing up there my Irish accent
I feel the need the need the food to do
tennis at your pace pain out of active
take on Antonia back you know that may
put your very own cases here okay I
think I might go in the first view
things down and we got downstairs in the
boat everything was healing over and
things are flying all over the place I
ran around making sure that everything
was locked away
[Music]
change plans then virata's akin thumps
the approach to the kids office we found
a space on the key more dope and paid
our dues to the port police agent who I
think technically takes a cut off the
top but anyway he helped us with our
lines
this is anima square this has some of
the islands most important buildings
the island of Zakynthos had an
earthquake in 1953 during the earthquake
there were only four buildings left
standing and this was one of them this
whole town had to be rebuilt from
scratch and in front of the Great Hall
these solemn US national poet we took a
walk up the Avenue and loved these
mushroom shaped trees this area is the
main shopping area of Zakynthos town and
it's full of every type of shop you can
possibly imagine plus loads of bars
restaurants and cafes and all the stuff
working really hard in the street trying
to get you in to eat it's a really busy
little town during the daytime full of
locals and tourists do again some really
cool and then we get them away
like a cell wall there we spotted this
interesting looking seafood restaurant I
thought that might make a great place
for date night later that's where we're
moored and then we walked over there
which is you are here we also took a
look inside one of the local churches
I think this artwork is just amazing to
think somebody's actually stood there
and painted every piece sadly we were
unable to film inside you yeah no but
cover down the camera it's Confucius
great philosopher educator and founder
of Confucianism in ancient China after a
great walk around the town we headed
back to the boat and wanted to sort out
all the lockers we'd brought some
plastic tubs to be able to organize
things now and that's got to work an
interesting afternoon Matthew yep
looking a little bit different today
have you grown younger or something yes
looking good
[Music]
the streets became alive an evening full
of families children playing football
and lots of people dining out it was a
really great atmosphere we'd come across
this great restaurant for eight euros
fifty you could have a starter salad a
Maine fish dish and also half a litre of
red wine we headed ourselves over to the
restaurant and had a good evening but we
totally forgot to film our food sorry

eggs there on the beach so you can only
go in certain parts of the Bay it's
closed off to most boats between May the
