good food music that makes you move
amazing scenery and great people this
was our last day in Morgan's Bluff
tomorrow we would set sail for New
Providence day one was Monday February
26 we left at 6:30 a.m. we traveled 30
miles from Morgan's Bluff to West Bay
right there at the west end of New
Providence we arrived at roughly 4:30
p.m.
we're leaving Morgan's bluff we're gonna
attempt to go directly into the wind and
get to Nassau it's it's low winds but
it's dead in our face it's the best
window we've had in the last week so
we're gonna go for it and see what
happens
might have to tack depending on how it
goes we might motor but try to save
diesel you know we'll see how it goes on
the fifth day of this trip sterling saw
the jib flapping around and told me to
use the drawstring I know it's hard to
watch but eventually we do manage to get
that fist
okay we were trying to motor dead into
the wind of course he waited until the
first calm day we could find and it was
directly into our face so running the
engine a little bit harder than we hope
to try to go at least three knots the
water started coming out of the overflow
tank so we had to drop it down to 2200
rpm with at 2200 RPMs we realized that
we were doing 1.5 to 2 knots into the
waves and wind so we decided to pull out
the jib and tack obviously we cannot
make our heading so we had to go off
course about a hundred and five and now
we're currently doing a hundred and
eighty and once we get to a position
where our bearing will be 105 will do
one more attack and hopefully Coast
right on and there

all right we just arrived on the west
end of New Providence basically NASA and
Sterling invited us over so we're gonna
go over the charts and he's shutting out

sugar and pineapple one child day two
