we are sailing again at long last oh how

we missed it the feeling of gliding

through the water with no noise but for

the waves you're slicing through oh by

harnessing the power of nature catching

the wind in our sails and bending it to

our will Dale where are we going yeah

what are you gonna do there yeah then

where you going tomorrow

[Music]

those are the zapatillas

[Music]

what are those what are those two cute

islands or I should bring in the fishing

line with Jason and Nikki's drone we get

an amazing view of the islands from

above and once we jump in the water we

can see the unique perspective below the

surface while snorkeling around them the

waters around the zapatillas are

protected and it shows the underwater

life and reef are healthy and thriving

the shallows that surround the islands

are packed full of fish and without any

doubt the most beautifully clear water

that we have seen in the past two months

we have been here in Panama it is very

exciting we haven't been able to see

underwater like this since the Bahamas

and it's amazing we are beyond excited

to snorkel as much as possible in the

short amount of time that we will be

here here in the southeast tip is f it

is and it's pretty darn cool

it's almost like something out of a

movie these islands are undeniably the

most spectacular example of untarnished

tropical paradise that we have ever come

across and our Panamanian adventures so

far this is exactly what caused us to

fall in love with the idea of sailing

unattached to any permanent foundation

able to roam around the sea finding all

of the remaining bastions of untouched

beauty laying in paradise that we could

discover bringing us a little bit of the

feeling that the first explorers felt as

they discovered this new world

completely unspoiled with the ability to

pull the anchor and continue on this

quest while living our dream we find a

few sleepy nurse sharks who are hiding

away and saving their energy for their

night hunts

we all spread out and swim away from the

islands in search of some deeper water

to hopefully find a drop off with a

coral wall containing different

varieties of life from the shallows

what we find is more than we ever

expected

these caverns are massive Oh inspiring

and packed full of life this underwater

labyrinth is unimaginable unlike

anything we've ever seen before we

quickly call out to Dan Jason and Nikki

to come over and check it out they all

are smitten as us with this spectacular

underwater landscape it doesn't take

long for all of us to be diving all

around and underneath the naturally

formed structures flying through its

cracks caverns and swim-throughs we are

hoping we would find something magical

in the zapatillas that would make it one

of those special everlasting memories

and this may be it

it certainly is awesome we continue to

swim around for a couple of hours giddy

like a bunch of school kids this natural

playground is quickly becoming one of

our most favorites that we have ever

found there are depths twists and turns

that test us and push our abilities

improving our diving skills while

carefully seeing what is possible

Nikki Jason and Dan are just as excited

as us in this awesome atmosphere we're

so grateful to have discovered this

place just lying off the beach of a

couple tropical islands

after just a few time snorkeling here in

Panama Dan is at home in the water and

is diving down and around the caverns

and swim ters as though he has been

doing it his entire life

we cautiously follow closely to be safe

but is apparent that he certainly needs

no assistant taking in the wonders

underneath the surface after thinking we

were all a little crazy for enjoying

swim through so much he now easily

understands their jaw and addiction we

love sailing and really enjoy it

wishing it had always been a part of our

lives but to us this is truly where our

passion lies and sailing is just a

wonderful way to get to hard-to-reach

places to see these amazing sights that

few others will ever get an opportunity

to experience

sharing these experiences with others is

truly a gift that we don't take for

granted we were offered an amazing

opportunity to go on this adventure and

we sure are glad that we did the world

has a few amazing spots like this that

are untouched by commercial interests

and the saving world is spoiled in the

fact that this frontier is available for

them to experience

sailing on curiosity may diving through

these caves possible and we loved every

minute of it and love the feeling of

diving through these deep swim cruise

[Music]

one thing about going through all the

deepest darkest cracks and caverns is

that's where a lot of the aggressive

predators are with very sharp teeth

fortunately we have always managed to

avoid coming into too close to contact

with these creatures and do so again

this time but we are very aware of the

dangers they pose and always try to

identify their position to everyone if

found

and just like that the end of the day is

approaching and we must leave this

fantastic spot we all swim together in

one big loop before jumping in the

dinghy to go back to the boat while

dinging back to the boat and minyon we

see this amazing coral almost sticking

out of the crystal-clear water and it

captures our hearts we all quickly jump

in to check it out and it's worth it

it's so packed with life it's

otherworldly it is very evident that

these waters are truly protected by the

volume and beauty of the fish and coral

calling this spot home the coral here is

amazing and large coming only inches

under the surface a lot of the fish are

curious about what we are and what we

are doing so they come to check us out

even a curious nurse shark stops by to

investigate us before swimming off and

hiding far away in some small crevice

away from the light of day

the zappity islands are amazing and we

truly wish we could spend weeks here and

are sad that we will leave its wonders

after only one night but the adventure

must go on we are certain that we will

continue to find more hidden gems like

these zappity islands this is definitely

one of those places that quickly

captures your heart then you find

yourself never wanting to leave
