In Episode 7, it was my first time alone on Galopin for a few days. You'll see that I took full advantage of my new little domain. The sound system was up and the shots were flowing for my first night aboard alone. The town of Port Leucate is also pretty empty and desolate during the off season, but the beauty shines even though it was somewhat sad and grey, as well as super windy. A interesting port to begin my Winded Voyage.

when I returned to Gallup on alone I
0:14
plugged in a USB key with killer tunes
0:16
and did only what one would do in
0:18
privacy of their own boats
1:01
maybe I'm painting
1:29
maybe I'm feeding
2:19
it was Sunday a perfect day to get the
2:22
residual boos blown out of me and see
2:25
the local sights
4:42
this place is so dead at the season like
4:46
I was the last man on earth
4:47
or expecting zombies to come crawling
4:50
out of these vacation dwellings the
4:53
camel tone wind was raging and I was
4:55
trying to imagine what this place is
4:57
like in a summer when it's filled with
4:58
half-naked tourists and kids and
5:00
everything
5:49
they came back made myself a solid
5:51
hangover feast to take on projects the
5:54
next day
6:03
like a beautiful day today
6:06
no wind I'm going to check with the
6:11
technique Pleasence guys about the
6:14
estimate on the water heater and a few
6:17
other things that they're gonna fix on
6:21
this boat so here we are at the boat
6:25
store the people that installed our
6:27
batteries very happy to uh I've done
6:30
that that had to be done
6:32
batteries were dead and apparently could
6:35
explode against a load of but you
6:40
not so being safe Swiss we took the safe
6:45
route here's the cute secretary with the
6:48
exhale let's go talk to another thing is
6:58
to do a complete engine lube job I
7:02
hopefully want to be here when they do
7:04
that cuz I want to see how they do it so
7:06
I can do it eventually myself I went
7:09
through the entire boat yesterday to
7:12
clunked here I found a couple things
7:15
that I was missing one is the emergency
7:18
tiller says 40 it's got a lock nut on it
7:23
so I'm just gonna make sure that this
7:25
thing functions because this is a
7:26
requirement on the boat in case your
7:29
your wheel breaks down you have a a
7:33
manual tiller so I'm just gonna check
7:36
this and make sure that it works this is
7:40
mandatory on these boats
7:41
it's a the law so I found it so we don't
7:45
have to buy one or make one
7:47
so it looks like you know you hardly
7:50
ever use these things or never hopefully
7:53
because you hope that your your wheel
7:57
never breaks down so you never have to
7:58
use the tiller but this is here I found
8:01
it it's all just you know saving some
8:02
money I'm gonna test it out later make
8:04
sure it works so the emergency tiller
8:07
works functions with the rudder see the
8:12
marine store was opened so I went to
8:14
replace the head pump after watching a
8:15
how-to video
8:59
here's your
9:37
it was disgusting yep really simple to
9:39
do well unfairly pleased with myself
9:49
with another project then I Reese crude
9:51
all the ceiling screws which added a few
9:54
centimeters to the overall height just
9:56
need to figure out what to do in the
9:58
galley as well as all new LED lights I
10:00
then settled into my new editing suite
10:03
to build this episode I left Gallup on
10:08
week later regretfully under blue skies
10:11
and forceful gusts
10:30
so I've just driven back up five plus
10:35
hours five and a half hours from the
10:40
boat down in polo cats
10:42
homuth winded voyage I was on get a pump
10:46
and just drove straight back
10:48
stop ones to get some gas and take a
10:50
leak and I'm here just park the car and
10:54
get a meet Stefan for our Thursday retro
10:58
burger and then go to school sailing
11:01
school but I'm bit tired man control of
11:05
all all day him there's a lot of
11:08
traffic here and rainy and cold and I
11:12
can't wait to get back down to the South
11:14
of France it was windy but sunny and on
11:17
that boat it was rocking so here we go
11:22
it's part of my window voyage continue
11:24
to go to school night for we're studying
11:28
boys
11:31
in front of called belly's
11:34
friendship sucks I can't wait to get
11:36
back on living on the boat that's the
11:38
real thing but all the school and stuff
11:41
is just all part of my windowed voyage
