morning YouTube so today we're we're off

sailing today it's the first I suppose

it's the first real sailing for today we

have we have been out sailing a few

times before this year but this is our

first proper kind of venture out suppose

we was going to head over to pool but

that involved a bit of planning and we

wanted to kind of wing it a bit so we

decided we decided to go to the law of

cove hopefully depending on how many

other motor boats are in there everybody

else so we'll see if we get in there and

anchor up there and probably throw the

kids in for a bit of a swim at the

minute we're sailing along we got the

spinnaker up and I don't know if any of

any of you sailors out there do as I do

is I always kind of pick a boat that's

kind of narrow so there's better over

there a bit bigger than ours and we're

keeping up with speed with him so I was

kind of find it quite good if you can

keep speed with somebody else not kind

of racing but it's just it kind of gives

you confidence that you are actually

doing the right thing and so we're doing

roughly around five and our knots

through the water with a spinning crop

we've only got about seven eight knots

of wind so going quite quite quick to be

honest with a spinnaker and this is the

first time we've really used it in any

earnest we're actually would go in the

direction we want to go and we've got

the wind where we want to go so it's

actually quite nice but anyway catch up

with us later and we'll be off swimming

in love with hopefully

so it got a bit further now we just pass

in their third or stall winds died down

a bit so we've we drop the main and

we're just saying on spinnaker alone

although it's flapping a bit and you

probably can air in the background for

only about half an hour away

that's the winch handle just drop yeah

so I think really about half an hour

away now hopefully we can say all that

rather than put motor on we'll see so

we're just on our way back from little

wood code now with it we did it stopped

in there very briefly what it is we've

got we've got an old Alyssa cqr copy

anchor so it's not an original cqr so

that's our anchor currently we bought a

new one we just not fitted it yet and

then basically we anchored in and it's

notoriously weedy in in law with code

anyway and I think we just didn't break

the weed enough so we ended up dragging

so and there was loads of other boats in

there so we just thought actually we're

just gonna come out of there then so

we're actually sailing back now back

towards Weymouth going against the wind

now so we're just tacking of when

there's about 40 knots of wind so it's

increased a little bit and we're roughly

doing about four and a half plus across

the water sir yeah we're just basically

messing about in boats today and say in
