This week we leave Croatia and complete a 2 night passage to Greece. We check out of Gruz Harbour in Dubrovnik at 9pm and set sail for Corfu. Our plan is to ...

last week on Kauai we sailed down the

coast of Croatia exploring many stunning

locations and islands with crystal-clear

water

we also climbed the famous stone walls

this time we leave Croatia as the Sun is

setting in the moon is rising on route

for Greece we loved overnight passage

making it's usually a little more remote

and feels more adventurous and in

addition a messy sea State this trip did

not disappoint with some strong winds we

collect many beech trees enjoy multiple

dolphin encounters and as we arrived in

Corfu are stalked by a large fish we

gonna Greece today

dunh dunh Croatia so it's got to get a

bit fuel and sign a degrees and we got

200 nautical miles we're expecting some

pretty strong winds

after the plan a plan was to leave

Dubrovnik at night and head offshore in

an attempt to catch the strong northerly

winds which would push us down the coast

past Montenegro and Albania before

checking into Greece

tres is always she's the one that takes

in the paperwork she's more trustworthy

and she's got the license so normally

checking out of here doesn't take that

long

so only only 10-15 minutes so hopefully

we'll be on the on our way really soon

so they went on the boat here is just

about to leave so should be sweet hey

a little bit longer than usual for

Croatia

the ins and outs of their job bought the

so we snuck out in this big bad boy in

behind you snuck in in our spot

there's a little bit of a maneuver quick

maneuver practically they said get out

of the way

and I really asked about it they just

said there's a big boat coming we can

see it so we're gonna get a full moon

pretty spectacular there it's gonna be

really nice on water tonight

right at this point and I never given

justice but has some big swells rolling

in every now and then out of a havoc

early morning shift Gorge yep just woken

up but it's really good actually

no it's pretty yeah it's a little bit of

color coordinator with our last little

bird that we picked up we will be

matching and in the water

no fish to report but three inflatable

devices so you've done well on that we

know this is our rendition of catch of

the day unfortunately nothing to report

from the water from the fish variety it

was a little bit different to the way up

very different the waves were much

larger this time

definitely not after all

but I liked that we and we set it up we

left a napkin so we got a knot you've

done early

yeah I preferred that than to struggling

when we're really tired on the last

morning having intercourse cruising down

the Albanian Coast 30 nautical miles

from Corfu the winds completely

disappeared and we were greeted by

another large pot of dolphins

hey guys we left a new crew member on

watch and took in the magnificent

dolphins at the bar got some friends up

here babe just hanging out with us

all around us

I will love dolphins

oh we on the big wave

it's Benjamite avocado on rice cakes I

think you've actually talked about this

recipe before and my dad was on board

yes we haven't it's been a bit of a

savior as this trip we really haven't

been able to make our usual salads or

stir-fries that we normally make for

lunch and dinner which we have been able

to every other passage but this one was

really really messy the waves are really

really mess exactly in the whole time on

knots and this sort of thing because

it's been too difficult and I've

attempted but I've just been very

clocked in

a whole copy

or another coffee and even I spill my

coffee today yeah you just uh yeah we've

just been out of whack downstairs been

running into things yeah I guess maybe a

longer crossings you get a bit more used

to it otherwise we're going to have to

get prepping on emergency meals in the

freezer

yep a little bit tired too so not eating

properly definitely we've definitely

tired we're looking forward to getting

there and I think tonight we'll go back

to our go-to meal when we arrive after a

passage nachos be you can't wait in a

while saving it strong winds and we're

getting stopped by this massive chair

like that a new tuna friend stayed with

the boat for an hour and a half

passing Saran day and sailing with us

into Greece arriving after a longer

passage is usually a fun time we are a

little exhausted and laugh at the

silliest things we feel excited and

grateful for the amazing experience and

a small sense of relief at having

arrived as we did arrive to our

Anchorage a deep sauce we got the

strongest winds of the whole trip 34

knots it topped off a great - night

passage and after a couple of hours it

calmed into a perfect afternoon yeah it

will evening sounds going down just

about going for a dip lovely let's see
