The steel for the keel has now arrived, but in the between time, some other essentials had to be completed. I make the door on the box that covers the engine control panel and chart plotter backs, using recycled teak and a small whiteboard, and then tackle the first of the v-berth cushions.

This is the story of the building of a Jay Benford designed, 31.8ft, junk schooner-rigged cruising sailboat. The videos are a week-by-week record of the build as it progresses and aim to show as much detail as possible of the various aspects of the build.
